“GC Ready”: In-house counsel with highly developed expertise and competencies who are poised to hold a Fortune 500 or other prominent General Counsel role in a smaller public or private company. GC Ready members are required to attend and participate in PODER25™ competency development programming, including periodic virtual learning sessions, and the in-person meetings at HNBA Corporate Counsel Conference, the General Counsel Boot Camp, the HNBA Annual Convention and various Regional Meetings of PODER25™ members.
“PODER25™ Circle”: Prior members of the PODER25™ GC Ready group who, having participated in the PODER25™ GC Ready development programming, have either ascended to the role of General Counsel at a Fortune 500 or other prominent General Counsel role in a smaller public or private company and/or wish to continue engaging with current and former members of PODER25™, without the developmental and coaching experiences.
Cost: No Cost. Prior membership in PODER25™ required.
Applications will not be accepted if not submitted after this deadline. Attendance at Open House is encouraged but not required to be considered for membership; however, the PODER25™ Facilitator may request a short, personal video conference prior to Monday, November 22, 2023, with any applicant who has not attended the Open House.

Note that all current and continuing PODER25™ program participants must also be members in good standing of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) as of December 1, 2023. New PODER25™ participants are welcome to join the HNBA upon acceptance into the program.
Finally, please note that, as a key goal of the program is to generate open, confidential dialog in accordance with our mission, we cannot accept new members into the program who are engaged in private law practice, regulatory or government roles or otherwise serving in a capacity other than in-house counsel at a U.S. company or multinational company with significant operations in the U.S. If you are not currently serving in such role but wish to become involved with PODER25™ or the HNBA, we encourage you to contact us about mentorship, sponsorship or volunteer opportunities.
Note that any acceptance into the program will be contingent upon an applicant providing the following no later than December 31, 2023: (1) a professional bio (2) a high-resolution photo, (3) a publicity release (which may have a carve-out for compliance obligations, if required by applicant’s current employer), (4) consent to release your information to search firms, other members and partners in the program; (5) certain representations (covering confidentiality, participation, commitment to the PODER25 mission and other relevant matters); and (6), payment of membership fees.
